Inaugural International Gem & Jewellery Festival to kick off on 13 September at Central Harbourfront Event Space

JewelryANG SAN MEI. HONG KONG. The first International Gem & Jewellery Festival (IGJF) will kick off next Tuesday from 13 September through 18 September 2016 at the Hong Kong Central Harbourfront Event Space (which is just next to the Hong Kong Observation Wheel), showcasing a myriad of various quality gemstones, pearls, diamonds, opals and fine jewellery.

Over 230 suppliers from different countries and regions including HONG KONG, CHINA, THAILAND, INDIA, JAPAN, TAIWAN, SRI LANKA, MYANMAR, PAKISTAN, TURKEY, AUSTRALIA, BRAZIL, USA and more converge at the brand new exhibition, over 60% of which are new first-time comers to show in Hong Kong in September. Buyers at the show will also enjoy on-site cash-and-carry purchases. There will be many special offers at factory prices dished out by exhibitors.

The IGJF show boasts itself being the first-ever Hong Kong jewellery fair to be held in an outdoor venue located at the heart of Hong Kong’s central business district. Three big fully air-conditioned and furnished marquees, housing several hundreds of booths, set to give exhibitors and buyers a brand new exhibition experience.

Several group pavilions are set up to enable target browsing and convenient sourcing. Featuring a large group of Shanwei-based jewellery manufacturers and suppliers, the China Shanwei Jewellery Pavilion renders a platform to show off the best gems and jewellery products from the city dubbed “China’s Coloured Gems Capital” and “China’s Jewellery Manufacturing Base”. Another notable pavilion is the one organized by Australia’s Opal Association, which brings together a group of Australian opal suppliers showcasing an alluring selection of opals from Australia, the mother of all gemstones. Other country pavilions will present precious gems and jewellery products from Japan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
